Medicine

The training of foreign students in the University has started in 1996. Medical faculty № 3 was established on September 1, 2011, in order to optimize educational process of foreign students, taking into account the increase in their number. Foreign students specializing in “General Medicine” and “Pediatrics”, and starting from 2016 those who pursue a Master’s degree in “Medicine” (according to the new Law on Higher Education), are trained at this Faculty.

The amount of foreign students of the Medical Faculty № 3 has increased three times since its foundation and currently exceeds 1500. This is one of the most numerous departments in the University.

The geographical representation of our students is diverse. They come from countries of Europe, North America, Middle East, Asia, and Africa. At present, foreign students of the University represent more than 40 countries, though the biggest community (almost 82%) is constituted by Indian citizens.

The University has developed and actively supports the institution of national communities, each of which has its own leader elected by the majority of the community members. Forming a part of the University Student Council, they help to organize the conditions of living and studying of their fellow countrymen, and also actively cooperate with the dean and the University administration. The most numerous are the communities of students from India, Ghana, Jordan, Egypt, and Nigeria.
